Diamond Max Disk Grinder

The Diamond Max is the first glass grinder to combine a flat diamond disk for straight edges with a router style bit for curves. Bit and disk run simultaneously - you don't have to stop and switch back and forth.

We have used one of these grinders for 3 years plus in the studio.  It is not one of our primary grinders but it is really versatile as it allows fine trimming and straightening of the edges of glass for leadlighting, mosaicing or foiling.  We also use the disk to clean and straighten small fused pieces (i.e. dichroic cabochons) before we fire polish them - a much better looking result.
